| Home of quality black and bay clydesdales. We currently have two striking Clydesdale stallions that sire our colts and fillies. 21st Century Tartan is an 18.1 hand bay son of Armageddon's Lord Jacob and Lynnholm Classic King a 17.1 hand black son of the famous Classic Laddie. Our mares also carry top bloodlines such as Belleau Murray, Northwest Glenord's U.R. Arrow, Silver Perfection Fleming and Armageddon bloodlines. We traditionally have 4-6 black and bay foals a year with most for sale at weaning. Owners James Hoglund and Art Hickman currently are living in Iowa. James is in his grueling final year of Veterinary school at Iowa State University and works to keep the herd happy and healthy. Art is a newbie to the Clydesdale breed who has quickly found a passionate love for these truly gentle giants. Art makes sure that the horses stay pampered and in their favorite treats. With James receiving his DVM in 2008 Leather and Lace Clydesdales will be relocating to Kinston NC on May 15th, 2008.
